This was the third book that I've read by Holmberg, and I'm now convinced that she writes consistently good books.
Lots of deep mythological ambiance in this one. Fast-paced and engaging, with interesting, dynamic characters. There's even a nice spattering of romance in this one—nothing too overwrought, just some light, fairy-tale vibes.
A well-written piece of modern mythology.
Favorite Quote: To have hope, to be happy, you must love what's around you. The trees, the air, the flowers, the people, the mountains and hills. All of it. The more love you have for your surroundings, the happier you will be.
