Targeted at ace and aro folks, this book offers some relationship advice as well as tools to help put your new knowledge to use. Some of the advice feels a little basic—and can be applied to relationships in general, regardless of your sexual or romantic orientation—but the information is a good refresher. Sometimes it's the most obvious stuff that bears repeating.

[Review] Pretty by KB Brookins

Written from a transmasculine nonbinary perspective, this memoir is an exploration of what it means to grow up Black and queer. Very raw, authentic, and thought provoking, with an incredible amount of illuminating information, including a lot of good commentary on socially ascribed gender roles—with particular emphasis on Black expectations—and the difficulties involved in growing up/being trans.

[Review] The Gender Binary Is a Big Lie by Lee Wind

What an enlightening read! Extremely informative and encompassing. This book is a solid foundation for learning about the many different genders—the past and the present of gender roles and labeling within various social structures. Lots of research and science, but everything is presented clearly. There are even notations in the margins that help further clarify some of the more complex ideas.
