I'm not even sure where to start with this one. This is a hard story to hear. It's filled with abuse, neglect, homophobia, AIDS and death.
Historical fiction novels take place in the past, in a historical setting. There is generally a balance between elements of fiction presented alongside historical figures, events, or settings.
