[Review] Death's Country by R.M. Romero

This novel-in-verse invokes a dream-like sense of wonder. I loved the diverse characters, and the particular focus on a throuple relationship. But, like a dream, I found this book a bit disorienting. And I lost the plot on occasion.

There is a lot of symbolism and analogy in this book (most of it probably went over my head). Deep and a bit esoteric. I will say that this is a story that begs to be dissected and studied.

Note: I received this book as an ARC. It is scheduled to be released May 7, 2024.
