[Review] Sassinak (Planet Pirates, book 1) by Anne McCaffrey and Elizabeth Moon

Interesting main character and story set in space. This book had a lot of exciting elements. There were even dinosaurs!

The start was strong and compelling. And I was all set to love this book, but, for me, the pacing was a bit off. While I was thoroughly engaged the first half of the book, I found that it lost much of its momentum during the second half. It was a bit slow in places and the time jumps made it feel like a less cohesive story.

I liked it, but I didn't love it.
