[Review] The Collapsing Empire (The Interdependency, book 1) by John Scalzi

Published on 14 April 2024 at 10:06

Another well-written book by Scalzi. This one presents readers with a futuristic space empire rife with intrigue and political scheming. Well-developed and diverse characters. Lots of action and tension. Once this book gets going, it's fully engaging.

That being said, I will mention that the start of this book was slow, with the introduction and development of multiple characters. I was about 30% into the book, before I really found myself drawn into the action. But, like I said, once it gets going, it really takes off.
