[Review] I Am Legend by Richard Matheson

Great premise, but this book just didn't deliver for me. I wasn't a fan of the writing style, which felt unpolished. And then there was too much plot without enough character development. The lack of character development meant that I couldn't bring myself to care about the main character. As a result, all of the the high-stakes action scenes felt bland and unimpactful.

I had to force myself to finish this one.

Note: After writing my review, I realized this book was published in 1954. For a classic, it's probably one of the better ones. But by today's standards, I stand by my review.
