[Review] Paladin's Grace (The Saint of Steel, book 1) by T. Kingfisher

This was a bit of a slow start for me. But Kingfisher is a great author and once I got into the story, I was all in.

This book has all the trappings of a high fantasy story, with spatterings of Kingfisher's humor and whimsy. High stakes, high tension, and some steamy romance keep the whole story moving forward at a quick pace. Even the secondary characters were standout: a mischievous ferret-like pet, a best friend who is a spy, and a berserker paladin love interest.

Fun and fresh. I'm now moving on to book 2 in the series, because I want more!
