A fun read with some cute characters and supernatural elements. The book addresses some serious subjects, but the tone was light and hopeful.
The plot kept me interested, for the most part, but the worldbuilding was thin. Even though the book is set during the week leading up to Halloween, I didn't get many Halloween or fall vibes. I really wanted more ambiance.
A decent distraction for the Halloween season.
