[Review] The Chocolate Touch by Patrick Skene Catling

A classic from 1952. This book holds up well alongside modern books.

Light. Upbeat. Funny. It is a quick read with two important morals. First, the story is a gentle reminder to be careful what you wish for. Secondly, it is a lesson in moderation, least greed be your downfall.

Genres:  Fantasy,  Classics,  Middle Grade

Read it. Do it.

Want even more enrichment from this book? Try your hand at one of the activities mentioned within the pages of the book:

  • Eat chocolate.
  • Visit a chocolatier.
  • Jump rope.
  • Play a musical instrument.
  • Bob for apples.
  • Take a new route on a walk or a drive.

I Did It !

Any excuse to eat chocolate is a good one, so I'll admit that this was kind of a freebie for me. But I loved it!
