[Review] Of Thorn and Thread (Daughters of Eville, book 4) by Chanda Hahn

I've enjoyed this series, for the most part, but this book was a miss for me.

There was one commendable part. The section about women being sold for sex work was interesting and tastefully done. The characters and details surrounding it were interesting, and that part of the book successfully held my attention. But that was only a small part of the book, and regrettably that was the only compelling section for me. The rest just kind of blended together and faded into the background of my mind.

Also, this is a Sleeping Beauty retelling, but the connection to the original story felt too vague and tenuous. If I hadn't known it was a retelling before reading it, I might have missed the connection altogether.
