[Review] Akata Witch (Nsibidi Scripts, book 1) by Nnedi Okorafor

An engaging and culturally rich story, filled with Nigerian folklore and magic. I felt completely immersed in the culture which felt authentic and relevant, with its patriarchal marginalization of women and discrimination based on skin tone.

A great fantasy novel that integrates relevant real-world issues.
