[Review] Arrows of the Queen (Heralds of Valdemar, book 1) by Mercedes Lackey

There were some interesting sections in this book, but it felt a bit slow in the telling. Compared to other books published around the same time (1987), this one is quite good and stands the test of time well. Compared to more modern novels, it feels a bit simple.
