A celebration of culture and a fun way to introduce children to some traditional and not-so-traditional iftar recipes.
I did find the formatting of the recipe directions to be a bit awkward. They are written in third person, rather than the standard second person point of view. This made them wordy and required some mental translations to parse down the necessary information.
Still, this is a fun, informative book that will introduce children to some recipes from around the world and also encourage them to participate in Ramadan cooking.
Note: I received this book as an ARC. It is scheduled to be released February 4, 2025.
