Lovely whimsical art and a story about making responsible choices, even when they are harder/scarier. I thought the story was great, with a good moral.
However, I did find the religious implications at the end a bit cringey. But that is likely just me. I prefer my books sans religion.
But, if you don't mind a bit of religious flavor, this is a very commendable book.
