This is a cute story about a mouse, written in the same cadence as “A Visit from St. Nicholas” (aka “Twas the Night Before Christmas”). I'm guessing that this book is a clever play on the iconic line “no creature was stirring, even a mouse.” But in this poem, the mouse is stirring!
