Light playful art, and snarky but fun poems about childhood. There are some fun Shel Silverstein vibes in this one. It is perhaps a bit more linguistically simple than Silverstein (less metaphor, analogy, personification, etc), but the lightheartedness and mischievousness are still there in full force.
A humorous poetry book for children that hits on many of the challenges of growing up.
Note: I received this book as an ARC, post factum. It was released March 20, 2025.
