[Review] The Earl from Christmas Past by Wendy Vella

The writing is good. Solid. But outside of that, this book wasn't a good fit for me.

First off, I wanted/expected a Christmas book. Although it was set in winter, it was so thin on holiday vibes that I forgot this was supposed to be a holiday book. Second, the characters both felt toxic—easy to anger and quick with their tempers. Third, the romance aspects of the plot were very shallow. There was no chemistry between the main characters, they had poor opinions of each other, and there was no reason for them to want to be with each other (outside of an estranged friendship from when they were kids).
