[Review] The Vanish Witch by A.J. Locke

Very interesting and engaging plot. I enjoyed the system of magic and the dystopian worlds (both the real world and Elsewhere).

I did have a few issues with the writing. In particular, there was a frustratingly implausible moment when the MC is first intimate with her old boyfriend. Willing suspension of disbelief went out the window and I was silently cursing that no one in their right mind would act like that, given the situation.

Ultimately, the writing does need a bit more polish and character development. But overall, the plot and world building were both good. I never found myself bored and wishing that I was already done with the book, which says a lot.
